Low Key Boho by the River | WEDDING INSPO

Updated: Jan 22

You may have seen this shoot published on #festivalbrides - We were all over the moon! We were lucky enough on the day to have 2 amazing photographers. Here you'll get the exclusive snaps from Emma, an up and coming Nottingham wedding photographer with an eye for detail, and the energy to bring your dream photo checklist to life.

The theme of the shoot was LOW KEY BOHO. More and more couples are shying away from big weddings which I think is fab! But that doesn't mean it won't be really fancy! We had a dream team of suppliers. Two Eight One provided the styling, from hand-dyed cheese cloths to the widest array of glass bottles you've ever seen, George came super prepared! Exactly what you want on your big day.

Florals were arranged by Sophie at Gigil & Bloom, a beautiful florist based in Southwell Nottingham. I was so impressed with the level of detail. My brief for the shoot was less detail orientated but more on the vibe I wanted to create, leaving suppliers with the creative freedom to create something new and exciting.

Sophie created the most gorgeous mini-installation which adorned the Chrome grid and neon (available to hire from the shop, too!). It was the perfect contrast of feminine, delicate details and industrial, progressive vibes. Absolute perfection!

Other incredible details include this watercolour chrome cake by Storeybook Cakes, stunning Crystal Headwear by Project Zodiac, and on-the-day stationery by Wild Calligraphy.

Hair and Make up were FLAWLESS on the day. The lovely Sarah from Rock n Roller Hair totally rocked my 'Xena Warrior Princess gets married with lots of braids' brief! Sarah is a braids wizard and is currently running braid masterclasses. You can find out more information about these on her website.

Cassidy from Catocala MUA was the wizard behind those ombré lids which worked so well with Monica's beautiful auburn hair. I gave Cassidy no help at all, instead asking her to look at the overall look and work her magic. painting Monica's gorg face as she saw fit. And WHAT A RESULT!
