A couple of weeks ago we got to explore Blidworth woods with the amazing Rosie Kelly Photography - Looking at these photos I'm laughing at myself because I'd been worrying all week my bump wouldn't be obvious enough when in reality you can't miss it 😅.
As I write this update, I'm almost 37 weeks and I'm feeling mega accomplished. I've completed all wedding work for the 2020 season and delivered all commissions ahead of the rest of my styled wedding shoots for this year.
- Working with me over the next few months -
I've updated my website and will only be processing gift vouchers and digital downloads for the foreseeable future. My Etsy processing times have been extended to 3-4 weeks, as have response times to new enquiries for 2021 weddings & beyond.
I am not taking on new bookings between November 2020 and March 2021 - but please do enquire for dates further in the future, and sooner rather than later, as some months are already full 🥰.
For DIY couples and crafters, a limited number of Calligraphy kits will be available via Handmade Nottingham from November 1st (Just in time for Christmas)! and I'm so excited to be collaborating with Rhea over the Christmas period. Handmade is still open in store and online for your indie purchases. We always buy stocking fillers and cards from Handmade and it feels unreal to be joining lots of very talented makers and stocking the Wild Kits!
2020 was supposed to be Wild's biggest year to date in terms of weddings + large scale events. It's certainly been a significant year - but not in a way any of us could have ever imagined.
As we draw closer to our due date and I am reflecting on this year I feel so grateful for my clients. It's not something I'm so open about, but pregnancy after loss has been an interesting journey to navigate alongside trying to keep my creative business alive during a worldwide pandemic.
I feel really blessed to have so many wonderful customers and supplier friends who have supported each Wild launch (The styled shoot guide, the all new calligraphy taster kits , personalised baubles and even taking the wild workshops online)! throughout the pandemic and have helped wild to survive.
It feels so good to be so organised and have minimal distractions ahead of Baby Wilson's arrival - but it feels terrifying all at once. To work so hard on a business and then lower the tempo feels so foreign to me... but I'm excited for all the creative ideas that are sure to come my way as I start to slow down and fully immerse myself in new mum life 💪
Thank you so much for all of your support this year, you really are the best!
Catch you all soon 🤍
Lots of love,
Faye, Wild x
